About Me

Zhenqi Wu

I am a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering with research experience in robotics, autonomous systems, perception, and machine learning. My work integrates reasoning, simulation, and real-world robotics experiments to solve complex manipulation and navigation tasks.

Experience & Education Timeline

Research & Projects

DREAM – Domain-aware Reasoning for Underwater Monitoring

Developed an integrated architecture for robotic perception, planning, and control. This research focused on multi-modal mapping and reasoning techniques to enable robust navigation and adaptive execution under uncertainty. Evaluated results in simulation environments and produced state representations for planning.

GuardianML – Recommender System for Privacy-Preserving ML

Co-developed an open-source system that automatically recommends optimal configurations for privacy-preserving machine learning (PPML) deployments. Built structured datasets and conducted algorithm comparisons.
